Horrorland and Portaventura
ScareCON Aftershock is our annual Halloween after show event, where scare attraction owners and scare enthusiasts, can experience a fully operational scream park outside of the regular Halloween operating period.
Once again, we will be hosting the event in mainland Europe - with a chance to experience the award winning scare event Horrorland, near Barcelona in Spain, including a chance to meet the creative team behind the park, and go behind the scenes with an English speaking host.
The main event will be held on Saturday November 9th at Horrorland with the option to extend your stay to take in the Halloween event at Portaventura, one of Europe's most popular theme parks.
Fast Pass tickets for Horrorland are now sold out on the main website but we have an exclusive allocation for ScareCON delegates at a discounted rate. This allocation will also include a behind the scenes tour presented by an English speaking host.
Those wanting to extend their visit to Spain, can also take in Portaventura, which has 5 scare attractions, dedicated shows and some of the best Halloween theming around. There is also a wide array of World Class rollercoasters and rides to enjoy!
Please note the booking ticket ONLY includes the exclusive at Horrorland and delegates should purchase any tickets required for Portaventura directly. We will be in the park Thu 7th and Fri 8th, but must warn that not all scare attractions and shows are scheduled on those dates.

Travel and Accomodation
Both parks are located under 1 hour from Barcelona airport, which is served by many low cost airlines from the UK and across Europe.
Accommodation in the area is plentiful and we will be sharing our recommendations soon. When looking at Portaventura hotels, note that their room prices include free park entry. Also Horrorland can be a very late night and it is approximately a 90 minute drive back to the theme park hotels.
